This comprehensive retrospective included Mucha’s well-known posters, lithographs, decorative designs and watercolours as well as oil paintings, sculptures, and photographs taken by the artist himself.
In total, 240 items were exhibited, with approximately 100 items on loan from the Mucha Foundation.
The exhibition took visitors through Mucha's career as an artist, beginning with works produced before he achieved renown, to pieces from his later years, including studies for his monumental Slav Epic series. Rare items such as jewellery were also on display.
